A LETTER FROM OUR 2023-2024 CO-PRESIDENTS

Dear Fellow Crusader Parents,

It is our hope that you and your families have enjoyed a restful and restorative summer. We cannot believe it is the end of August already! The summer months have provided an opportunity to both wrap up this past school year and look ahead and plan for the coming year.

The Crusader Parents’ Association is one cohesive and inclusive community committed to supporting quality education at Stepinac. The CPA welcomes Stepinac parents, guardians, and alumni to work together to continue to organize fundraising initiatives as well as plan social events that benefit and support the programs, facilities, students, and faculty at Archbishop Stepinac High School.

This past year was a wonderful example of our community’s unwavering commitment and generosity to the School and, in particular, our sons and their dedicated teachers. Through your participation in and support of the Crusader 5K, the Stepinac Merchandise Store, Designer Handbag Bingo and the Red, White and You Benefit, honoring Mr. Paul Carty, over $90,000 was raised for the School. This money has already been put to good use through the renovation of the School’s Library and creation of the Paul Carty Learning Center as well as the upgrade of the Admission Suite. All of these initiatives were made possible through your generous donations and will benefit each and every one of the students at Stepinac.

Because of the success of this past year, the Crusader Parents’ Association goal for the 2023-2024 school year is to raise $100,000 from the following fundraising initiatives and social events:

The Stepinac Merchandise Store

Christmas Apparel and Carol Event

Designer Handbag Bingo

Crusader 5K

Spring Event

Faculty and Staff Christmas and End of School Year Fund

Your support of these initiatives and events will help to ensure that the students and faculty have the resources that enable the improvement and enhancement of the educational and co-curricular experiences at Stepinac. We invite you to contribute and participate at a level that is most comfortable for your family. Each and every gift of your time, your talent, or your treasure makes an impact and a true difference for our sons, their teachers, and our School.

In closing, thank you in advance for your continued support of the Crusader Parents’ Association and its commitment to the School. We are so excited for this year and our impactful work together.

With gratitude,

Samantha Hanley and Jessica Dobeck
